Hello everyone! It has been a busy week for me but on a happier note I can sense the Spring is just around the corner at my end of the globe. I did created something simple today and went back to the basics of Distress Inks. I wanted to see if my sponging skills are still there - LOL. I went with a skinny and tall shape with one curved edge to add some interest. I was so excited to use my white pigment ink because I never get to use them. I love how it added texture to the gradient of blues and greens. I feel that this creation is perfect for any special man! I hope you like it!

Adding faux stitching lines amplifies the essence of "handmade"
I also used the same pen to add some shadows on the sentiment
Blue & Green Party!!!
Love this design Brian. The sponged blue and green over top of the pigment white gives a subtle change of colour for the stars ... love the look, especially with the added faux stitching. Thanks for playing along at Happy Little Stampers.
ReplyDeleteAnother handsome card, Brian; the texture added by the white pigment ink is certainly noticeable, in the best of ways! Loving the added touch faux stitching! Thank you for sharing your shaped card in the TPE gallery!
